Disneyland passes YAY!

Some adorable pictures of the kids at Disneyland. We have been having a blast. I am surprised at how much Penelope does not remember from Disneyland. And she is a lot more scared of the rides then last time. I'm hoping that it will just take time of her getting used to it. But there are so many fun things to do, we will do fine.

Father-Daughter Dance

Russell and Penelope went to their first Father-Daughter Dance. The men's ministry at our church puts it on every year. It was so sweet. Penelope and I spent some time getting her glowing before hand. It was so sweet and heart breaking. I felt like I was sending my little girl off to prom. Geeze, they grow up so quickly.

5K at Huntington Beach

I did another 5K at Huntington Beach. I had not trained one time that week so I didn't do as well as I thought. Plus I didn't have my ipod. So I did end up walking for about a quarter mile of the run. I finished at about 34 minutes and 58 seconds. Which is beating my last run by a couple of minutes. I have since then am able to run the whole 3 miles and am working towards the idea of a 10K. I think my final goal is to do a marathon once. By then maybe I don't need incentives to run races each month to keep me accountable. But there has been many times where I know I would have stop training if I didn't have a run coming up.

San Diego Trip (lots of photos)

It has been so long since I have posted. I have wanted to but have not had the time to do so. Since I last posted. Our little family went on a quick trip down to San Diego. Austyn has started to crawl, pull himself up on furniture, and babel and eat more foods. Penelope and Russell went to a father-daughter dance. I did another 5K in Huntington Beach, where I almost ran the whole thing. But now I am able to run 3 miles and am working towards 4 miles. 10 K someday. Just because I have so many photos I'm going to try to separate the posts so it doesn't sit as a draft too long.

Anyway here are some pictures of our extended weekend trip down to San Diego.

We stayed in La Jolla and at the Embassy Suites. On the top floor. Behind us is the view from our room.

We took a trip to San Diego Zoo.

Austyn in his stroller, anxiously awaiting to see all the wildlife.

Plus I got to feed a giraffe. It was so cool!

We also went to a bird show. Here we are awaiting the start.

The birds would fly from all directions. None of their wings were clipped. But they were defiantly too fast for me to cetch with my camera. I have a lot of blurry shots of scenes of the audience. This is one bird coming in for a landing.

We also went and toured the USS Midway

We also spent some time at the Hotel pool. This was Austyn's first time in a pool.

the adorable girl!

After a fun time at San Diego on our way back we spent a little time at Disneyland. Did I tell you we renewed our annual passes? Ya, we totally caved! We only lasted about 7 months without one. We are hard core. LOL.
