all the stuff goin on

Here are some pictures of the cutest baby in the world!

Some of them are milestone things that she is doing....like brushing her teeth all by herself. Oh, how cute!

Also some other things that are new that I forgot to mention last post. We switched to cloth diapers. We are using Bum Genius and Wiggle Worm. Both so far I love and Wiggle Worm are just so adorable. There are several reasons we switched. I want to start out by saying that we still totally support G diapers. We are keeping the G diapers that we have for when we take vacations. Some of the general reasons we switched is the fact that it cuts down a significant expense each month. We were paying $100.00 a month for diapers and now the Bum Genius is a one size fits all. Meaning we never have to buy diapers again. That has to be a good selling point! Also G diapers revaped their diapers, that have a lot of good qualities. But the velcro on them was worse and was going to be a problem very soon. And one that seems to affect me the most right now, the cloth diapers I am using are a lot more absorbant then G diapers because they have a microfiber inner. Which means I don't have to do so many changes. The washing of the diapers isn't bad at all. Just a couple extra rinses on the washing machine is really the only difference then doing a regular load of laundry.

I left the CD with the pictures of Penelope for Easter at a friends house. When I get it back I will upload the pictures so you all can see. I am suppose to get the actual pictures on the 20th but lets hope for sooner!

a little update about a lot

Well...I feel like I haven't posted in forever. So much has happened. A few major details. I officially quit UCLA. My last day is March 22nd. At the same time I was able to get my old job back at Torrance Memorial and I am already working there.

Penelope is growing and developing in leaps and bounds. She is sucessfully eating solids and we are just trying to start all the different type of foods. She has her first teeth. She got her bottom two at the same time. She just started crawling acouple of days ago, so she still is a little uncordinated. She also is able to pull herself up to a standing position. She hasn't realized she can do it on other items. But we have been trying to show her how by having her hold onto other stable items. I am trying to get pictures of her doing all the new things. I have most of them....I will post them soon.

In addition I got Easter photos of our little girl and will be posting those shortly.

Anyways pictures to come. I promise.
